Make A Difference Day (MADD) is an annual service project which the Ohio Junior Classical League (OJCL) plans and carries out. Each year it is different, as the incumbent regional governor is always in charge of the project which he or she oversees. This year’s MADD for our region combined both the Northwest and Northeast regions.

Approximately thirty OJCLers attended this service project last Saturday on November 16th at Youth Challenge’s facility in Westlake. Youth Challenge (YC) is an organization which provides recreational activities to disabled children who would otherwise be unable to participate. The OJCL threw an Olympics-themed party for the YC participants. There were several activities throughout the night, including chariot racing, discus, javelin, fresco-painting, and a viewing of the classic Disney movie Hercules.
