78th Street studios is an art labyrinth located in Cleveland’s Gordon Square neighborhood. You’ve probably driven by it before and never noticed the ruddy brick buildings that used to serve as home to a motor manufacturer and American Greetings. Today over 40 artists have their studios and galleries inside the historic building. Every third Friday (Next one: February 21st!) the complex opens its doors to the public for a massive artwalk that attracts upwards of 1200 visitors. The grand experience includes 45 diverse studios, 20 pop-up artists, and food vendors to fuel your creative cravings. Also inside the maze are theatres, small cinemas, and even a breezy pinball bar (yup, that’s a slide in the background). In addition many local Gordon Square establishments have later hours as well. Go!
