New Living History Club for SEHS Students!

Greg Margevicius ’16

New to St. Ed’s this year is the Living History club. Moderated by Mr. Stemm, its purpose is to teach SEHS students the basic rules, tricks of the trade, and other “ins-and-outs” of LARP, which stands for Live Action Role Play. While official LARP events are reserved only for those above the age of eighteen, the Living History club will give SEHS students the opportunity to engage in an activity which allows them to channel and enhance a side to their creativity and imagination while having fun and being physically active. The club is open to all students and meets in the main gym or the SAC on Tuesdays after school until 5:00 P.M. All that is required to participate is a comfortable pair of clothes and $1 in cash to pay a rental fee for sword usage. An SEHS student who finds he really enjoys LARP should consult Mr. Stemm about the purchase of their own weaponry. For more information about LARP, see http://www.larping.org/ or talk to Mr. Stemm in room 217.
