Laser Focused Fantasy: Playoff Waiver Wire Pickups

Laser+Focused+Fantasy%3A+Playoff+Waiver+Wire+Pickups

With the playoffs quickly approaching you want to make sure that you have all of your starters’ backups. So if you have Zeke you want to have Tony Pollard. If you have Dalvin Cook you want Alexander Mattison. And if you have CMC you want Mike Davis. If you don’t look to trade some of the depth on your bench for them because if one of them gets hurt you are going to wish you had their backup instead of some TE you weren’t going to play anyways. Here are my top Wavier Wire pickups at every position going into the playoffs.

TE Robert Tonyan (Green Bay): Next two games @DET, CAR

Tonyan is Rodgers second favorite target in the red zone right now behind Devante Adams. I don’t see that changing for when they are trying to make a push for the playoffs.

RB Myles Gaskin (Miami): Next two games KC, NE

Gaskin has been on the IR since week 9 and he got dropped in 50% of leagues. Now that there are talks of him being back for the Dolphins to have a push for the playoffs he is supposed to be back this week. Get him if no one already has in your leagues or even make a small trade for him.

WR Michale Pitman Jr. (Indianapolis): Next two games @LV, HOU

Michael Pitman Jr. hasn’t really done much all year, but late in the season he is starting to pick it up. He is one of Rivers favorite targets right now and they are going to need him to keep performing with the Colts trying to push for that final wildcard spot.

D/ST Seahawks: Next two games  NYJ, @WAS

The Seahawks are playing some of the are going to play some of the worst offenses in the league right now. The Seahawks defense has been playing like the defense we used to know back in the day. Jamal Adams has been a beast in coverage and getting to the QB.

Desperate for a QB? Try New Orleans’ Taysom Hill. Hill has averaged over 21 points per game over the last three weeks while future Hall of Famer Drew Brees heals up from injury. Hill seems to be coming into his own as a passer as well syncing up with WR1 Michael Thomas for 9 receptions and over 100 yards this past week
