In their last home game of the season, St. Edward finished strong against a talented National Christian Academy team from Maryland. The National Christian Academy Eagles have players committed to Florida, Eastern Carolina, Texas A&M, William and Mary, Louisville and University of Massachusetts. The St. Edward Eagles jumped to a 21-0 lead before halftime and finished NCA 36-14, limiting them to only two touchdowns the entire game. St. Edward quarterback Connor O’Malley threw for 133 yards and ran for 33 yards to pass the 2,000 all purpose-yardage mark. National Christian Academy fell to 6-3 after the loss, while the Eagles finish the regular season 9-1 and begin to prepare for the playoffs.
