The NBA 2014/2015 Season is finally upon us. We all know how that losing feeling feels like but times are changing in Cleveland, Ohio as, the hometown Cavs are the favorites to win the NBA Finals with odds of 5-2. The reigning San Antonio Spurs are second, with 4-1 odds. With the season starting a couple days ago, some teams are already on their marathon to a potential championship. Two former MVP’s came back from injury. Derrick Rose the 2010/11 MVP was out for the past two years, played his first game on Wednesday against the Knicks. Kobe Bryant came back also, he only played six games last year. Many are skeptical about both these stars, saying they won’t be as good as they once were, but only time will tell. There are some teams that can make a late surge, the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Bulls have what it takes to make a deep playoff run, and you never know, they could make a Cinderella run. The MVP favorites are the “King” who is finally home, LeBron James, and the reigning MVP Kevin Durant. The players that have a chance to shock some people I would say is, Derrick Rose, Anthony Davis and James Harden. We all know how that losing feeling feels like but times are changing in Cleveland, Ohio. While the NBA is a very long season, we should be in for a fun season, as the Cavs will actually be a contender this year.
