5. Asphalt 8: Airborne
Asphalt 8: Airborne is a free Windows Store exclusive (sorry but not sorry mac users) that I strongly recommend for those that own Windows 8 or 8.1. The game is easy to both grasp and play; on top of being enjoyable, it boasts respectable graphics. In just a few hours of main races, players gather the in-game-money needed to buy a variety of cars. The only downside of the game is that it is a large download file (1.5 gb) and is a windows exclusive. Personally, I would recommend it to anyone interested in racing games, or with a taste for more fast-paced gameplay. For those interested, you can find it on your Windows store app.
4. Happy Wheels
Happy Wheels is an online game that you have most likely heard of or played at some point. While the only version available at school is the game’s demo, the levels that it offers still includes the fast paced, bloody, and overall hilarious gameplay that will serve as enough in getting you hooked.

3.Learn to Fly 2
The next game on the list is Learn to Fly 2. This game is easy to understand, fun to play, and requires no past experience with the game’s predecessor, Learn to Fly. Despite its brevity, it remains an enjoyable game with a high replay value.

2. Unfair Mario
This next game is extremely frustrating and will have you yelling at your computer in the middle of the Kahl Center. Regardless of whether you’ve heard of this game or not, all that you need to know is that it offers as much pain and frustration as it does fun. Just before you you congratulate yourself on having passed an obstacle, you die. Other variants exist such as Cat Mario, but this version is the easiest to understand. I encourage that you try to finish the level with the least amount of deaths, though you will probably die of frustration before you even get half-way. Good luck!

1. Burrito Bison Revenge
Coming in at #1 is by far my favorite game to play during my self-directed (or misdirected) time: Burrito Bison Revenge. This game is exceptional in its spontaneity and random fun. You play as a Mexican minotaur tasked with retrieving his wallet from a safe in a candy world (that is inside of a candy bag that is inside of a candy store). You must progress through the candy worlds, smashing gummy bear’s skulls and wooden doors along your way. Unique power-ups and other fun distractions littered along the way will ensure that this game never gets boring. To find this game, search for Burrito Bison Revenge or visit the site; enjoy!
