The topic of abortion is the top ethical issue of today with arguments spanning everything from it takes the life of another human being to it takes away women’s rights. The strife and arguments are endless.  41 years ago the Supreme Court of the United States of America made a landmark decision in the case Roe v Wade to legalize abortion in all of the United States. Since then, more than 55 million babies have been aborted in the US alone. This decision has caused a public outcry from all over the country spanning every race, culture, and religion and is the main reason why 600,000 people gather in Washington DC yearly to publicly witness for all of those who cannot. Beginning on the National Mall, protesters march one half of a mile up Capitol Hill to the front of the Supreme Court Building to make their voice heard to legislators in Washington. Inside Washington there are vigils, youth rallies, and masses to pray for the end of abortion and to protect life in all of its forms. The March for Life is a powerful example of the unity we have created as one people to never yield to the injustices that are committed against humanity. Every year the support grows stronger and the attendance of the march grows larger, and our voices are heard a little bit louder.
